The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda paid a courtesy call on Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, the Honourable Prime Minister of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, at the Prime Minister’s Office today (16th January 2025).

The Sri Lanka Navy organized a cleaning programme at the beachfront of Talaimannar Lighthouse today (16th January 2025) on the occasion of 25th anniversary of the Provost and Regulating branch. This initiative was carried out in support of the government's “Clean Sri Lanka” project, launched under the motto “Beautiful Island, Smiling People.”
