The Indonesian Naval Ship KRI DIPONEGORO – 365, which arrived in Sri Lanka on 04 Feb 25 for replenishment, departed the island today (05 Feb). The Sri Lanka Navy bade customary farewell to the departing ship at the Port of Colombo, following naval traditions.

Able Seaman RBG Chinthaka XS 114053 of the Sri Lanka Navy topped the Hydrographic Surveying Initial Employment Training Course, conducted by the Royal Australian Navy Hydrographic School, Sydney from 23 Sep to 13 Dec 24. Accordingly, he clinched the Waining Memorial Prize, as DUX of Hydrographic Surveying Initial Employment Training Course.

The Italian Naval Ship ANTONIO MARCEGLIA arrived at the port of Colombo on a replenishment visit this morning (05 Feb 25). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.
