The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda made his first official call on the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Honourable Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat on 06 Feb 25.

The Sri Lanka Navy enabled its manpower and craft for a clean-up drive at Beira Lake and its surrounding this morning (06 Feb 25). The programme was organised by Western Province Waste Management Authority, in support of the government's "Clean Sri Lanka" project, launched under the vision "Beautiful Island, Smiling People.”

The Defence Advisor to the High Commission of the Republic of Namibia in India and accredited to Sri Lanka, Captain Lisias Kondjeni Kangandjela called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda at the Navy Headquarters on 05 Feb 25.
