The Commander of the Navy, along with naval personnel, extends heartfelt congratulations to the Sri Lanka Air Force, as it proudly marks the 74th anniversary today (02 Mar 25).

The Sri Lanka Navy’s Research and Development Unit (RDU) has achieved another milestone in enhancing operational efficiency with the invention of Line-Throwing Adapter Kits for T56 SMG. The kits were officially handed over to SLNS Gajabahu and SLNS Sayurala in a ceremony presided over by the Commander Western Naval Area on 28 Feb 25.

As part of yet another community service initiative, the Sri Lanka Navy organized a mobile dental clinic on 28 Feb 25, at Sri Devram Viharaya in Pannipitiya. The programme was organized in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Sanga Sabawa, fostering a spirit of unity and care.
