In a significant step towards ensuring access to clean drinking water, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant was declared open at Nakwaththagama Junior School, Kurunegala on 04 Mar 25. This initiative, spearheaded by the Sri Lanka Navy's Research and Development Unit, is part of the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) Project, funded by Sunshine Foundation for Good and Sunshine Holding PLC.

The Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) Aslat arrived at the Port of Colombo on a goodwill visit this morning (05 Mar 25). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.

In continuation of its commitment to community, the Sri Lanka Navy undertook a clean-up programme at Thammanna Velusumana Maha Vidyalaya, Seeppukulama on 03 Mar 25. The programme was conducted as part of the nationwide initiative to renovate schools under the “Clean Sri Lanka” project.
