In celebration of International Women's Day, an awareness programme titled 'Your Happiness is with you' was heldat the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium, Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee on 11 Mar 25. The programme was presided over by the Deputy Chief of Staff and Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Chinthaka Kumarasinghe.

The Sri Lanka Navy stepped forward to provide diving assistance to fix the defunct sluice gate of Katagamuwa Tank, Nikaweratiya on 10 Mar 25.
