Demonstrating its continued commitment to social responsibility and empowerment, the Sri Lanka Navy threw its weight behind to transform the teaching-learning environment at Al-Kalam Maha Vidyalaya in Pottuvil on 07 Apr 25. The initiative was launched as part of the nationwide programme aimed at fostering an educational atmosphere at schools, centered on the theme "A School Full of Happiness.”

The Naval Research Wing turned up the volume on public speaking and honed the analytical skills of naval officers with a Speech Craft Workshop. Organized at the Wave n’ Lake Naval Banquet Hall on 28 Mar 25, the conduct of the event was facilitated by Kelaniya Toastmasters Club.

A comprehensive three-day training programme aimed at empowering civilian readiness for disaster relief operations was successfully conducted from 05 to 07 Apr 25 in the Southeastern Naval Command. This training was organized under the Government's 'Clean Sri Lanka' initiative, which focuses on community empowerment through education as part of its social pillar.
