The official launch of National Anti-Corruption Action Plan (NACAP) 2025–2029 was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo on 09 Apr 25. The event, hosted under the patronage of the President, Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, was also attended by the Commander of the Navy.

In a significant step towards ensuring access to clean drinking water, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant was declared open at Alpitiya Maha Vidyalaya, Monaragala on 10 Apr 25. Driven by the Sri Lanka Navy's Research and Development Unit, this initiative has been a key component of the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) Project and was supported by funding from the Sunshine Foundation for Good.
