Vice Chief of Naval Staff of Indian Navy meets with Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy
The Vice Chief of Naval Staff of Indian Navy, Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, accompanying the high-level delegation led by Defence Secretary of India, Mr. Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, arrived in Sri Lanka to attend the 8th Annual Defence Dialogue, met with the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda on 05 Jun 25 at the Navy Headquarters in Colombo.
The visiting Vice Chief of Naval Staff of India was accorded a Guard of Honour in compliance with naval traditions, upon his arrival at the Navy Headquarters. During the ensuing cordial discussion the Commander of the Navy and Vice Chief of Naval Staff exchanged several ideas on matters of bilateral importance and mutual interests, highlighting the long-standing cooperation between two countries.
The official interaction came to an end with an exchange of mementoes, signifying the importance of the occasion.
