The Indonesian Naval Ship KRI BRAWIJAYA-320 arrived at the Port of Colombo on a replenishment visit today (27 Aug 25). The Sri Lanka Navy welcomed the visiting ship in compliance with naval traditions.

The Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine (SLCOMM), in collaboration with Hemas Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd and Vision 8 Academy, conducted a one-day wellness and professional development programme on 21 Aug 25 at the Admiral Somathilaka Dissanayaka Auditorium, Navy Headquarters, Colombo.

A new Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant, set up by the Sri Lanka Navy, was officially opened on 24 Aug 25 at the village of Ambagaswewa in Polpithigama, Kurunegala. Implemented under the Naval Social Responsibility initiative, the project was realized through the technical expertise of the Navy.

In a continuing commitment to its naval social responsibility mandate, the Sri Lanka Navy successfully conducted a series of mobile dental clinics across the Jaffna district from 21 to 25 Aug 25.
