As part of the sequence of religious programmes held in view of the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy and to invoke blessings on those affected by adverse weather, a spiritual event was conducted at the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya on 27 Dec 25, with the attendance of Commander of the Navy.

In an environmental initiative commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy, the Western Naval Command organized a cleanup programme at Galle Face Beach on 27 Dec 25.
