The Military Attaché of Turkish Embassy in New Delhi and accredited to Sri Lanka, Staff Colonel Servet OKUMUŞ called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Navy Headquarters today (03rd February 2023).

Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe, the President and Commander - in - Chief of the Armed Forces of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka felicitated senior officers of the tri-services by awarding prestigious Vishishta Seva Vibhushanaya (VSV) and 75th Independence Anniversary Commemoration Medal on 01st February 2023. The dignified ceremony was held at the President's House in Kandy and the ceremony was also attended by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera.

Commander Teilo Elliot –Smith, the Commanding Officer of HMS Tamar of the Royal Navy met with the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Suresh De Silva at the Western Naval Command Headquarters on 28th January 2023. HMS Tamar arrived at the Port of Colombo on 27th January, in need of repair.
