The concluding religious ceremony in view of the Sri Lanka Navy’s 65th anniversary was held at the Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya on 07th January 2016.

The facility of the Aqua Golf Driving Range, which was declared open by the Commander of the Navy on 18th December 2015, has now been extended to the general public with effect from 01st January 2016.

Sri Lanka Navy was able to minimize the environmental damage caused to the lagoon in Thaldiyawatte, Dikowita due to an oil spill that had occurred during the cleaning of a pipeline carrying oil to the Muthurajawela Oil Refinery Complex yesterday morning (31st December 2015).
