The Australian Naval Ship HMAS “Melbourne” arrived at the port of Colombo on 21st February 2014 on a goodwill visit.

Lieutenant General Ashok Singh, GOC-IN-C, Southern Army Command of the Indian Army paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 19th February 2014.

Under the guidance of Commander North Western Naval Area, 04 Tamil ladies women from Mullikulam village were recruited to the Sri Lanka Navy as teachers on 09th February 2014.

The Sri Lanka Navy Dance Troupe joined dancers from Egypt and Manipur and drummers, musicians and singers from Rajasthan and Colombia to usher in the Delhi International Arts Festival 2014 at the historic site of Delhi’s Purana Qila (Old Fort) on Sunday 8 February evening.
