The Sri Lanka Navy on 03 Apr 25 bade farewell to Rear Admiral Thushara Karunatunga who relinquished his duties to which he was committed over the past 33 years in the Sri Lanka Navy.

Naval personnel on 28 and 29 Mar 25 embarked on a thrilling expedition to Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak), while fostering health and well-being among personnel within the Navy. The event was attended by a group of 34 staff members of the Directorate of Policy and Planning, under the supervision of its Acting Director.

The 10th Fast Attack Craft (FAC) Course in Irregular Warfare, conducted by the 4th Fast Attack Flotilla (FAF4), concluded on a successful note in Trincomalee, marking another milestone in the training calendar of FAF4. The certificate awarding ceremony, held at the FAF4 Headquarters, was presided over by the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet.

The Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) BUNGO and ETAJIMA arrived at the port of Colombo on a goodwill visit this morning (01 Apr 25). The visiting ships were welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.
