Navy recovers the dead body of a person died in a deep well

In response to a request made by Kankesanthurai Police, the Navy Divers attached to SLNS Uththara located in Kankesanthurai belonging to the Northern Naval Command, recovered the dead body of a male person aged 40, from a deep well in Thelippalai area yesterday (12).

Navy recovers 16.7 kg of Kerala Cannabis in Point Pedro Seas

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Uththara located in Kankesanthurai in Northern Naval Command managed to recover 16.7 kg of Kerala Cannabis along with a Fibre Glass Dinghy abandoned in the sea area south of Point Pedro today (13).

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Ruhuna located in Tangalle belonging to the Southern Naval Command, in coordination with the Tangalle Police, arrested a fisherman along with an unauthorised net used for fishing, during a raid carried out in Nakulugamuwa area yesterday (11).
