In a swift and coordinated operation, the Sri Lanka Navy rendered assistance to bring ashore a fisherman with leg injuries and rushed him for medical attention this morning (18 Sep 25). The fisherman had encounter this unfortunate turn of events while engaging in fishing at sea about 183 nautical miles (338 km) south of Galle.
