Commander of the Navy declares the Naval Dockyard as a Domain of Green and Blue

The Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva declared the Naval Dockyard as a Domain of Green and Blue which is supposed to exploit as an exclusive area to practice the Green-Blue concept in view of protect and conserve the environment of both ocean and land for the well being of generations to come, today (21^st June 2019).

This Green and Blue concept is an imaginative foresight of the Commander of the Navy and this is the pilot project carried out by the Sri Lanka Navy supported by number of similar activities conducted in other Naval bases island wide.
