In concurrent with the International Day of Cleaning Beaches, Sri Lanka Navy launched a cleaning programme around the beach areas of Galle Face Green, today (2^nd September 2019).

Gintota beach fringed with coastal lowland plants by Navy

As part of a wide range of conservation projects conducted by the Navy to protect the beautiful coastal belt of the country, another coastal conservation programme was held at the Gintota Beach in Galle on 31^st August 2019.
