The Navy plants more mangroves to help protect coastal saline

The Sri Lanka Navy has been making a significant contribution to the protection of Sri Lanka's marine and terrestrial ecosystems. As part of its initiative to expand mangrove ecosystems, a mangrove plantation programme was conducted in the Northern Naval Command today (25^th January 2020).
