Navy apprehends 78 individuals attempting to illegally migrate from the island
Sri Lanka Navy apprehend 78 individuals, suspected to be on illegal migration attempts to a foreign country via sea, during separate search operations carried out in seas off Batticaloa and Kaluwankeni Beach, Batticaloa on the night of 10th July 2022.

A consignment of Kerala cannabis with gross street value of about Rs. 33 million held by Navy in Mannar
Naval patrols conducted in Sand Banks, Mannar and the beach area of Urumalai today (10th July 2022) and on 09th July led to the seizure of Kerala cannabis weighing about 113 kg and 280g (wet weight).
