A joint operation to rescue flood victims in Mannar

A joint rescue operation was conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy and Army from 29 Nov to 01 Dec 25, in response to severe flooding caused by heavy rainfall in the Mannar, Nanattan, Murunkan, Vidayanakulam and Settikulam areas.

Through this operation, fifty-eight (58) affected individuals were rescued and relocated at safer locations.
