Sri Lanka Navy assisted in the repatriation of thirty-nine (39) Sri Lankan fishermen, who were released from the Indian custody on 16th June 2014.

Naval Personnel attached to SLNS Thambapanni of the North Western Naval Command on information received recovered 10 kilograms of Gelignite (100 Sticks), 500 numbers non electric detonators and 15 feet two safety fuse rolls with one person in the general area of Anuradhapura on 13th June 2014.
