Sri Lanka Navy facilitated the repatriation of 41 Sri Lanka fishermen who had been released from the Indian custody.

Naval troops attached to SLNS Uttara of the Northern Naval Command on information received, recovered 115 rounds of 12.7mm x 108 mm ammunitions, 162 rounds of 7.62 x 39 mm ammunitions, ten 60mm mortar fuses, one 40 mm RPG grenade, one SFG 82/2 grenade, one 60mm illuminating para and an LTTE camouflage shirt in the general area of Udaiyarthurai on 24th July 2014.
