Naval troops attached to SLNS Thambapanni in Puttalam of the North Western Naval Command arrested a person with 120g cannabis (Kerala Ganja) in the general area of Koththanthive in Puttalam on 16th March 2015, and another person with 50 No’s of “Modaka” in the general area of Periyakulama in Puttalam on 17th March 2015.

Naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command on routine sea patrol arrested 06 persons with 550 kilograms of illegal fish catch in the seas off South Bar in Talaimannar on 17th March 2015.
