Colombo MRCC alerts Myanmar & Bangladesh to render assistance to drifting SL fishing boats
The Maritime Rescue Coordinating Centre (MRCC) based in Colombo, which is manned by the Sri Lanka Navy, has alerted the Maritime Rescue Coordinating Centers in Myanmar and Bangladesh about the stranded Sri Lankan fishing boats near coasts of Myanmar and Bangladesh and requested to render possible assistance.
