Annual General Meeting of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit held in Colombo
 

The Annual General Meeting of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) was held under the precedence of the President of NSVU, Mrs. Yamuna Wijeguneratne at the Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake Auditorium at Naval Headquarters yesterday (11).

During the meeting, lengthy discussions were held in relation to the programmes undertaken thus far by the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit and the programmes to be implemented in the future. Moreover senior and junior members were elected for functional, sub and patron committees in view of the smooth functioning of all the projects and financial affairs which are operated under NSVU. On completion of the proceedings of the AGM, the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Yamuna Wijeguneratne, its senior and junior members, lady officers and spouses of senior sailors joined to observe a rehearsal of the Ranaviru Real Star programme conducted by the State Ministry of Defence.
