A dairy cow destined to be slaughtered was saved and released to the cattle shed at SLNS Gemunu, yesterday (June 2).

Senior officers of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA Navy) ships, “Chang Chun”, “Jing Zhou” and “Chao Hu”, which arrived in Sri Lanka on goodwill as well as a relief mission for the flood victims yesterday (31), made a visit at the Seva Vanitha preschool at the naval base SLNS Gemunu, Welisara today (1).
