Another community welfare programme by Navy Seva Vanitha Unit
As another community welfare effort of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, a wheel chair was donated to the child with special needs of a sailor, at the NSVU office in Naval Headquarters, on 28th March 2019.
Accordingly, under the guidance of the honourable President of NSVU Mrs. JK Arundathie Udithamala Jayanetti, this wheel chair bought with the funds of NSVU, was donated to the Leading Seaman RDDP Wijedasa’s son who has special needs. Further, a colour television was donated by SLNS Thammanna for the use of sailors attached to the radar station at 4th Sand Bank.
The honourable President of NSVU, the Vice President of NSVU, Executive committee members, Naval Assistant to the Commander of the Navy Commodore Dammika Kumara, Secretary of NSVU and the staff were present on this occasion.
