NSVU waves farewell to former Vice President
A function to bid farewell to the former Vice President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Champi Ranasinghe, was held on a grand note, under the patronage of the incumbent President, Mrs. Arundathi Udithamala Jayaneththi at the Malima Club House in Uswetakeiyawa on 11th May.
The outgoing Vice President was warmly welcomed to the occasion by Mrs. Jayaneththi, presenting her with a bouquet of flowers. Thereupon, the senior members of the NSVU extended best wishes for the future endeavours of the departing member and cherished the memories of their bygone days in the organization. A memento was also presented to the outgoing Vice President by the current President.
New Vice President of the NSVU, Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne, senior and junior members of the NSVU, lady officers and members of the NSVU Secretariat were also present on this occasion.
