Foundation stone laying ceremony of NSVU-built 'Abhimansala'

The President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) Mrs. Arundathi Udithamala Jayaneththi laid the foundation stone for 'Abhimansala’- a wellness resort constructed under the patronage of the NSVU for the disabled naval war heroes, at the Welisara Naval Complex today (10^th August).

The NSVU has allocated a sum of Rs. 10 million for this noble cause and the President symbolically handed over the cheque in this regard to the Deputy Area Commander (West) Commodore Rohitha Perera on this occasion.

The occasion was also attended by Director General Civil Engineering, Rear Admiral Susil Senadeera Naval Assistant to Commander of the Navy, Naval Officer in Charge (Welisara), senior naval officers and members of the Seva Vanitha Unit.
