Navy Seva Vanitha Unit Members visit the children of Jinananda Child Development Centre
As part of yet another community service campaign of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), the President of NSVU, Mrs. Arundathie Udithamala Jayaneththi along with its members took time off to visit and spend time with the children of Jinananda Child Development Centre at Wellawatta, on 13th August 2019.
NSVU members offered alms for four monks who reside at the Sri Sugatha temple in Wellawatta where the Child Development Centre is situated. Meanwhile, the members of NSVU also offered the 60 inmates of the Child Development Centre with a delicious and nutritious lunch. Further, NSVU took measures to complete the urgent repairing requirements of the centre.
The occasion was attended by senior and junior members of NSVU, their family members and the staff of NSVU as well.
