NSVU lays foundation stone for Naval Preschool on an auspicious note
The ceremony to lay the foundation stone for a Naval Preschool at SLNS Pandukabhaya was held under the patronage of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Arundathi Udithamala Jayaneththi on an auspicious note today (30th August 2019).
The new facility is built to provide learning space, offering early childhood education to children before they begin compulsory education at primary school. The naval personnel attached to SLNS Shiksha and SLNS Pandukabhaya will benefit from this facility as it would provide opportunities for early childhood development of their kids.
The project is being carried out under the supervision of Commander North Central Naval Area and guidance of Commandant SLNS Shiksha and Commanding Officer SLNS Pandukabhaya. The construction work of the project is monitored by Command Civil Engineering Officer (NCC).
