Annual concert of Naval Preschool at SLNS Tissa held on high note

Under the directives of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) and the supervision of Commander Eastern Naval Area and his beloved wife, the annual concert of the Naval Preschool at SLNS Tissa was held on a high note at the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium of Naval & Maritime Academy on 26^th November 2019.

The event was graced by the President of the NSVU, Mrs. Arundathi Udithamala Jayaneththi, as the Chief Guest. The Vice President of the NSVU, Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne, Commander Eastern Naval Area together with Mrs. Ramyani Wickramasinghe, members of the NSVU, senior and junior officers and parents of the preschool children were also present on this occasion.

After ushering the distinguished invitees the proceedings of the event commenced. Thereupon, the event saw wide-ranging items of singing, dancing and music presented by the preschool children. In recognition of the talents of the children, prizes and certificates were distributed among them. The teachers and assistants of the preschool were also presented gift vouchers by the distinguished invitees, in appreciation of their service.
