NSVU bids farewell to executive committee members

A function to bid farewell to Mrs. Shayani Poornima Vithanage and Mrs. Menaka Serasinghe who bade adieu to their duties of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) was held on a grand note under the patronage of the NSVU President, Mrs. Arundathie Udithamala Jayanetti, Vice President and its members at the Western Naval Command Headquarters, on 03^th January 2020.

These two senior members are the beloved spouses of retired Rear Admiral Udeni Serasinghe and retired Rear Admiral Sujeewa Perera, and they have rendered a commendable service for Navy Seva Vanitha Unit.

The farewell party was colourful with the singing, dancing and musical items presented by the Navy Band and the Navy Cultural Troupe. Mementoes were also presented to the outgoing members, Mrs. Shayani Poornima Vithanage and Mrs. Menaka Serasinghe, by NSVU President in recognition of their service. Senior/ junior members of NSVU, several Lady officers and many others were also present on this occasion.
