Navy athletes make waves at bodybuilding championship

In a display of strength and power, Navy athletes showed their colours at the Sri Lanka Master Bodybuilding Championship, Mr. Hercules Top 10, Youth Junior & Physique Men/Women Championship – 2023. The event, held at the Western Province Aesthetic Resort at Colombo on 15th December 2023, showcased the prowess of naval bodybuilders against competitors from renowned sports clubs.

The coveted Physique title of the Master Bodybuilding Champion/Mr. Hercules event was secured by Writer WR Kavinda. The Navy also won the 4th place in the Mr. Hercules event, with Leading Engineering Mechanic NVA Namarathna solidified his presence. Leading Electrical Mechanic TB Nuwan exhibited his skills and fitness in the Over 40 Age category, securing the 4th place.
