Navy becomes runner-up in National Baseball Super League 2024

The Sri Lanka Navy won the men's runner-up title in the National Baseball Super League 2024 organized by the Sri Lanka Baseball Association. The tournament was held at Japan Sri Lanka Friendship Baseball Ground, Diyagama on 10th and 11th May 2024.

The men's team of the Sri Lanka Navy was through to the final of the tournament which saw participation of 19 strong baseball teams of the country. In the final, played against the Sri Lanka Army, the Navy managed to secure the runner-up title, after a tight game (4-3). Leading Seaman YT Pushpakumara of the Navy was adjudged the best fielder of the tournament and Ordinary Seaman KWGYK Kaluarachchi won the award as the best pitcher of the tournament.
