Navy dominates Bart's Bash – 2024 with multiple wins

Players from the Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Pool secured many wins at Bart's Bash – 2024 sailing event, held in the alluring waters of Bolgoda Lake on 08th September 2024.

Organised by Ceylon Motor Yacht Club, the event was attended by players from renowned sailing clubs from the country, including 20 players from the Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Pool.

In the Open category, 1st place was won by Chief Petty Officer PDDS Rajapaksha and its 2nd place was won by Petty Officer UD Rajapaksha.

In the Laser category, Chief Petty Officer PDDS Rajapaksha, Petty Officer UD Rajapaksha and Leading Seaman JS Senavirathna swept the top 3 positions.

Meanwhile in the GP 14 category, Leading Seaman KCDS Zoysa and Leading Mechanical Engineering PDS Perera, Leading Seaman JMJP Aththanayake and Leading Seaman ASK Zoysa and Petty Officer WAS Weerathunga and Leading Seaman GPP Karunarathna won all three major honours for the Navy.

Again in the Enterprise category, Leading Seaman JMPL Jayapathma and Leading Seaman SPPN Kumara, Petty Officer JPSDE Silva and Leading Seaman LACM Gunathilake and Leading Seanam AGP Asanka and Lieutenant PSS Gomez won the first three places respectively.
