Western Command men, North Central women claim top honours at Inter-Command Squash Championship
The Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee became the centre of intense sporting action from 02 to 05 Sep 25, hosting the Navy Inter-Command Squash Championship. The competition showcased exceptional talent and competitive spirit from across Naval Commands.
The Western Naval Command emerged victorious to claim the Men's Championship title, while the North Central Naval Command secured the Women's Championship. The Afloat Command was adjudged the Men's Runner-Up, with the Western Naval Command earning the Women's Runner-Up position.
The tournament featured several categories, with naval personnel demonstrating remarkable skill. The championship and runner – up honours were awarded as follows:

• Runner up - Lieutenant Commander De Zoysa (Training Command)

The prize awarding ceremony held on 05 Sep was held under the patronage of the Commander Eastern Naval Command, Rear Admiral Ravindra Tissera, and was attended by the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Rohan Joseph, along with a group of senior and junior officers and sailors of the Eastern Naval Command.
