Navy marksmen and markswomen shine at 9th Navy Open Shooting Championship
The 9th Navy Open Shooting Championship – 2025 was successfully conducted at the Sri Lanka Navy Small-bore Firing Range Complex in Welisara from 16 to 28 Oct 25. The Sri Lanka Navy Musketry Pool showcased impressive performance at this tournament, securing a number of achievements.
The prize-awarding ceremony was held on 28 October under the patronage of the Director General Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Rear Admiral Pradeep Karunathilake.
Competitors from the Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Navy, Sri Lanka Air Force, and the School Shooting Sports Association took part in the event, where the Sri Lanka Navy musketeers distinguished themselves with following outstanding performances.
