Navy’s Leading Seaman Subasinghe wins 02 silver medals at World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026

Leading Seaman SMASM Subasinghe of the Sri Lanka Navy brought honour to the nation by securing two Silver Medals at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 08 to 14 Feb 26.

Competing in the T47 classification, he clocked 11.29 seconds in the 100m event and 50.86 seconds in the 400m event, securing second place in both disciplines. His achievements at the international event have brought great credit and distinction to both the Sri Lanka Navy and the country.
