Sandy Bay Cup 2026 wraps up in Trincomalee
The third (3rd) edition of the Sandy Bay Cup Golf Tournament 2026, organised by the Sri Lanka Navy Golf, concluded at the Sandy Bay Golf Course in Trincomalee on 30 August.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy and Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage graced the final day of the tournament as the Chief Guest, awarding prizes to the winners. The two-day tournament was held on 29 and 30 August with the aim of promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie among naval personnel.

• Net Winner : Captain JHIT Jayawardana
• Gross Runners Up : Able Seaman KPCR Kumara
• Net Winner (Retired) : Lieutenant Commander RMRC Rathnayaka
Chairman of the Sri Lanka Navy Golf, Rear Admiral Jagath Kumara and Secretary Commodore MADD M Piyatilaka, along with a group of naval personnel, attended the awards ceremony.
