SLNS ‘Hansaya’ receives new Commanding Officer
Lieutenant Commander Sanjaya Perera took command as the new Commanding Officer of the Fast Personnel Carrier SLNS ‘Hansaya’ today (11th August 2020).
During the formal ceremony held at the Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee Lieutenant Commander Sanjaya Perera relieved ship’s former Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Commander Iresh Ransara and assumed duties.
The event which was held in the presence of Captain Sea Training, Captain Janaka Nissanka drew to a close after an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
