Foundation stone laid for new Directorate of Naval Design Complex
The foundation stone was laid for the new office complex of the newly-established Directorate of Naval Design by the Director General Engineering, Commodore Ravindra Ranasinghe on 16th August 2017 at the Welisara Naval Complex. The office complex will enable the new directorate, which is established in accordance with the Commander of the Navy’s vision to modernize the naval fleet, to lead the ship design dimensions of the Sri Lanka Navy....
