Commander of the Navy pays courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism, Hon. Vijitha Herath at the ministry today, 27 July 2026.

During the ensuing cordial discussion, the honourable minister conveyed best wishes to Vice Admiral Fernando on his appointment as the 27th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.

Signifying this occasion, the Navy Chief presented a memento to the honourable minister.
