The award was presented to the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando, by the President, Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the National Productivity Awards Ceremony, held today, 8 November, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo.

Organised annually by the National Productivity Secretariat under the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, the competition aims to foster productivity, efficiency, and innovation across public, private, educational and micro-enterprise sectors nationwide.
