Rear Admiral Haritha Jayadewa assumes duties as Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet

Rear Admiral Haritha Jayadewa, appointed as the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, (FOCNF), assumed duties at the office of FOCNF in the Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee today, 14 September 2026.

Upon his arrival, the newly appointed FOCNF was received in compliance with time-honoured naval traditions. Thereupon, his predecessor, Rear Admiral Dhanesh Pathberiya formally handed over the duties and responsibilities of the appointment to Rear Admiral Jayadewa.
