New Indian Defence Attaché meets Navy Commander
The newly appointed Defence Attaché at High Commission of India in Colombo, Captain Vikas Sood paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Navy Headquarters today (29th July 2020).
At the outset, Captain Sood expressed his heartfelt greetings to Vice Admiral Ulugetenne who reached the helm as the 24th Commander of Sri Lanka Navy. Accepting his greetings, Commander of the Navy also extended best wishes to Captain Sood for being appointed as the Indian Defence Attaché at Colombo High Commission.
During the ensuing discussion, they exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest and recalled the longstanding relations between two navies. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark this occasion.
