Annual Pooja of God Ganesha Kovil at Naval Dockyard held with the attendance of devotees
The annual Pooja of the God Ganesha Kovil located at the Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee was held under the auspices of Commander Eastern Naval Area on 22nd August 2020.
The proceedings of this religious event had been conducted by Hindu priests in the area and it was attended by Hindu devotees, both naval and civil, at the Naval Dockyard. Meanwhile, the annual event was organized by the Commanding Officer and ship’s company of SLN Dockyard, giving precedence to religious practices.
Deputy Area Commander of Eastern Naval Area, officers and sailors were also present on this occasion.
