Ambassador of Afghanistan pays courtesy call on Commander of the Navy
His Excellency Mohammed Ashraf Haidari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Sri Lanka paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Navy Headquarters, today (16th September 2020).
As they exchanged pleasantries, His Excellency Mohammed Ashraf Haidari expressed his best wishes to Vice Admiral Ulugetenne for his well-deserved promotion to the highest seat in the Sri Lanka Navy.
The subsequent discussions focused on few matters of bilateral importance. Meanwhile, the cordial discussion drew to a close with an exchange on mementoes, marking the significance of the occasion.
